I Saw The Rapture

Luke 17: 34- 36
“I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.”

On the 29th of July, 2018 on the 27th day of a 40-day fast I had embarked on, I had a prophetic encounter where God, by His grace and mercy revealed the rapture to me. I had woken up at dawn to pray for about an hour and then headed back to sleep. Almost immediately after I slept, I had a dream, and in this dream I was caught up in the air and was viewing the world from the heavens. It was as if I was looking at the world from the skies. I saw three people in my country Ghana, walking at dawn and they were all singing praises to God. Suddenly, two of them vanished and it was left with one of them; and the clothes of the two that vanished, fell to the ground. In my consciousness in the dream, I immediately knew it was the rapture. I was terrified. Immediately the Holy Spirit began to talk to me about what I was seeing. So the three people who were walking were all Christians, praising and loving God. The third person who wasn’t raptured, was a pretentious Christian, pretending he loved God and the things of God but his heart was filled with sin and there was no love in him. Matthew 15:8 says ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honour Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me”.

Then I saw another group of two people walking; one was raptured and the other was not raptured because he had held things against people in his heart. The Bible says in Colossians 3:13, “Bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do”. People had offended him and he never forgave them and so he was also left behind.

Whilst I was having this supernatural encounter, it felt like I could see into the souls and hearts of the people I was seeing. I discerned that God looked into your heart, and this was the determinant for whether or not you would be raptured. So the people who showed so much love were raptured, but those who had even the tiniest of hate in their hearts for their neighbour, friend or family were not raptured. Matthew 22:36- 40 reads:

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” I realized that love was the key. The Bible also says in 1 Corinthians 13:13 that “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love”.

Another amazing thing I noticed was that there was also a category of people who did not make it – these were the people who looked down on others; who thought they “had arrived” and were better Christians or more spiritual than others. This group of people looked down on others and therefore had no chance of being raptured. They were all left behind. The Bible warns us about judging others. In James 4:11-12, we read, “Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one [a]Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?” Let us consider another scripture that talks about people who look down or think they are better Christians than others. In Luke 18:9-14 the Bible says;
9“Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be [a]humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Most people fall into this category, where they think they are better Christians or are more mature spiritually, than others. Let us learn to humble ourselves before the Lord.

The first revelation I got from the dream was that love is the key, and if you accommodate any iota of hatred in your heart you will not be raptured. Another important thing I noticed was the joy I saw in the faces of the people who were raptured. It was something I had never seen before. They knew beforehand that the rapture was going to happen so they lived without fear. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 says
“For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labour pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober”.

The Bible is telling us that we are not in darkness for the day to overtake us as a thief. What it means is that we will know. We will be aware of when it is going to take place so we should watch and be sober. This explains why the first people I saw were walking at dawn and singing praises although the world was living in fear.

After the rapture concluded, God opened my eyes to see the kind of demons released to come and torture people to take the mark of the beast. I have never seen anything as scary as that in my life. Their eyes looked very scary (a green flame of fire ). Their eyes alone made people take the mark of the beast. God also took me to the homes of the people who said they were going to stay in security zones in order not to encounter the demons but immediately they finished brainstorming, the demons of darkness were at their gates and nobody was able to escape. The Bible says in Revelation 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth”. May God keep us from this hour of trial.

I woke up shivering and broken. I learnt so much from this revelation. I understood why love is the greatest. We should love each other and should not harbour any form of hatred in our hearts. The people I thought would have made it did not make it. And the people who made it to heaven had a joy I hadn’t seen on this earth. That is what God showed to me that night and I woke up with a few verses in the New Testament from Luke, Matthew, and John 13 which talk about the love of Jesus Christ; how He served people, for instance, how He washed the feet of His disciples. Now, I have a totally different view of love. It is very critical.

Most of the people I saw in the dream that were either raptured or left behind are people I know personally; however, when I woke up, I was instructed by the Holy Spirit not to mention any names when I share this encounter. I am only allowed to share the message from the revelation with the world.

SAY THIS PRAYER TO RECEIVE JESUS

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen

May God bless you!
