I love supernatural encounters and always pray for, and desire encounters. The bible says we should ask and it shall be given unto us so on the 24th of July, 2019, I had a very profound encounter. I went to sleep and had a dream that I was in a glorious place. I was walking with an angel, and he walked me to a place that looked like a mountain, and then he showed me a very big city that was many miles ahead of us. Even though it was miles ahead, I could clearly see the city. The city was full of lights, some of the lights were golden and very glorious. This city was more beautiful than Dubai, Paris, Las Vegas or any beautiful city in this world. It was so majestic and very beautiful and I could not stop admiring it. I kept saying wow!, wow!. Suddenly, it dawned on me that I was in heaven, and the heavenly being (an angel of God ) standing next to me told me that the city I was looking at belonged to Evangelist Dag Heward Mills. I could not believe it! A whole city belonging to one man? John 14:1-4 says, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” This shook me, and I said “wow!” again and again.
After I had admired the city, the angel took me to a stadium where there was a crusade happening, with many tents. The place was packed with many people (souls), and the angel showed me the end time harvest of souls.
I am a big admirer of Bishop Dag. I believe his passion for souls and evangelism has been recognized by the heavens and one day he will receive a crown that won’t perish. Souls are dear to God. The Bible says that the heavens rejoice when one soul repents. Luke 15:7 says “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance”.
No matter what office you are called into, whether a Teacher, Pastor, Prophet, Apostle or an ordinary church member, it is important to focus on souls and do the work of an Evangelist. 2 Timothy 4:5 says, “But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry”. There are many people who are lost and who need believers to preach the salvation message to them. Most of us like to outsource soul winning to the evangelism department in the church. It will take you for people in your family, friends etc to hear the gospel. The great commission was not for only evangelists, but everyone.
Mark 16:15-18: “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
